One Single Impression #110 ~ Cognizance
Carry on Tuesday #47 ~ This week our prompt is the opening line from the 1949 movie Adam's Rib:
Vive la difference
~
When Summer heat melts into the fires of falling Autumn leaves
Vive la difference
~
When love's passion snaps into the rising flames of conflict
Vive la difference
~
When solitary Winter reflects on yesterdays
Subconscious secrets
Splintered doors ajar
Keys to cognizance
Vive la difference
~
NOTE: This could continue into Monday's post ~ Golden Music!

We don't have autumn in Thailand - it looks beautiful.
Autumn is my favorite time of year. And thanks for your perceptive comments on my CAPTAIN OUTRAGEOUS post. You see, if I can get the first book written, I plan to make it a series where I will take Victor on the stages of growing up with the colorful group of paranormals that surround Captain Samuel McCord.
In fact, the phrase, "Oh, go climb your thumb" that Renfield uses in the first chapter of FRENCH QUARTER NOCTURNE is a phrase that the priest has taken from the favorite phrase of Victor's in CAPTAIN OUTRAGEOUS.
If The Father is willing, I plan on linking all my novels together in a composite universe, even my Native American/Celtic fantasy THE BEAR WITH TWO SHADOWS.
So you are quite perceptive. And I am ambitious ... or out of my mind.
If you go to this short post you will find out more about why I love winter and the origin of the bear with two shadows. Love the colorful zest of your blog.

Have a blessed Easter
I love the colours of autumn leaves.
Happy Easter!
The colour in your leaf is beautiful. It's Autumn here too, but we don't get much of a colour change.
Please don't show autumn pictures now in spring or I get a nervous breakdown, lol !
Happy Easter !
indeed you made a difference, you even made an imperfect leaf photograph good.
Happy easter
very nice shot..happy Easter!
Your imperfect leaf teaches us that even in imperfection there is beauty. Which gives hope to those of us whose imperfections are hard to miss! Come check out my latest post if you're of a mind.
I come back here even when there are no new posts just to look at the beauty here. True beauty never gets old.
Your cyber friend, Roland
The image of the words is as vivid as the photo. Those splintered doors can be pretty ominous.
Nicely done. Nicely done indeed.
Your comments on my post were as thoughtful and perceptive as always. The feeling, perceptive life takes courage for we see beneath the surface. But I have read some of your blog : you have the substance and spirit to grow better not bitter.
Your cyber-friend, Roland
beautiful as always, pics and verses!

I love the splintered doors/keys to cognizance. Beautiful sound & imagery :-)
