We work so hard in our gardens all summer, though this summer was late in coming, yet when fall approaches we are in a state of relief knowing that the yard work is finished...no more mowing, no more weeding, just shoveling and avoiding going outside at all costs...it's too cold to open the door!!!
But we know on the other side, spring is creeping ever so close...as quickly as it has come, it goes...but it doesn't mean I have to like it!!! I'd rather be mowing than shoveling any day!!!
We are almost finished moving, today is our last day, then we get down to the business of selling and concentrating on the holidays ahead, our last hurrah before winter stops all sales and we wonder and worry...ahhhh...the life of a small business owner...always seeking, however, it doesn't make me love it any less(most of the time)...ha!
Hope your day is filled with sunshine and beautiful ocean views...I love them so!!!
A big ol' hug from the states sister!

Enjoy your spring. The photo shows great expanse... one doesn't see any humans, but humans have been there. And the clouds seem to be talking, too.
I love this shot and would love to be standing at that wall looking out over the water.
The sepia tones down all colors of the sky and sea. Also, the wall is softer and less a barrier between sea and land. As we in the northern climes are into Autumn with the cold to follow, it is nice to enter the Spring. With Winter gone, the feeling of new life abounds!
Lovley sepia Gemma!
Thank you for reminding me that spring will come back ;)
We're beginning to get below 0 degrees here in Sweden and that's a 'surprise' every year ;)
Have a great day!
Anna
It is a very interesting picture. I am very curious about that little wall. If you want to wander down my road I’m home.
Very pretty water shot! It looks great in sepia. And I love the little wall, such a great leading line.
If you'd like to stop by my blog I'm at Cake Crumbs.
