Imagine an Inner Glow

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Verandah ornament.
I have only just found this ornament tucked away in the garden, almost buried in leaves.
Perhaps forgotten by a previous owner?
Its little "cap" is removable, so this could be a tealight ornament?
Now it is all cleaned up, it is quite magical.

Soon St. Patty's Day will be upon us and perhaps a Leprechaun will take up residence. What a neat little house found...oh the possibilities...for a dreamer!

Have a wonderful Sunday Gemma!

Yes, Gemma, I'm sure it is a candle holder... I am imagining light shining through the little windows and door! :)

I agree, I think it's a candle holder, too. And like Mary I can just imagine the light shining through the windows and doors! Great shot! Happy SSS!

Oh, that is too wonderful a discovery! I remember hunting for fairy circles as a child...you found a fairies' house! ; )

My little bit of Irish heart agrees with Sweet Repose - I think a Leprechaun would be most fitting!
Lovely subtle shadows.

Lovely shadows and what a great find! It sure beats discovering a body buried by the previous owner in your yard. That wouldn't be fun!

What a kind gesture of the previous owners to leave a little house for you to discover. So much better than what we were left many years ago - thousands of foil milk bottle tops (I did say it was a long time ago) hurled outside the kitchen window. Or the other previous occupants who left so much dirt on the floor we had to resort to a shovel to get rid of it. Oh, for a little house to clean up!

Nice find:) Maybe that's where the Travelocity Traveling Gnome lives? ha ha, happy SSS.

It is definitely a magical looking little piece. With a candle in it it should thow off some intersting shadows of its own.

What a cool find! And it does look like its creator intended that it be lit up with a candle.

It's Monday for you already so I hope you had a good weekend. Looks like it!

I love it! I don't know why anyone would leave it behind. Unless, of course, there were fairies living there. Great find!
