It's good to face

Others definitely love

It seems that
There is far more
To the old bathing box
Of yesteryear than
An ironic
(Slightly amusing)
Similarity to
The famous Outback loo

This humble little boat shack is
Slowly
Doggedly
Evolving into
A desirable piece of
Sacred

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ More Dromana bathing boxes. As you can see, they are all very close together, often in groups where sand meets grass.
Pic on Flickr by Gemma Wiseman ~ Dromana bathing box with attitude. Not everyone likes stripes on bathing boxes. There are the rebel few who try their hand at some artwork.

Now that was really colourful. Makes me want to get the paint brush out. Though I'm not sure the neighbours would approve :-)
Great first entry for Manic Monday! I don't get to the beach, well, ever! So these are new to me! Reminds of the old ones years ago from movies and billboards and such!
Bathing boxes! We don't have them here, at least here in the Northeast. But we have something called "cabanas" which probably serve the same purpose. They are on the beaches and serve as a place to keep your stuff and/or change your clothes. :)
I wanted to say they are so whimsically decorated! :)
What fun little buildings!
The stripey ones make me smile.
Welcome To Manic Monday!
cheers,

We have these in the UK, beach huts. They sell now for extortionate prices in some places. I have alwasy had a doft spot for them, and the individuality they bring out in their owners. Lovely post.
