AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

I thought 'what a lovely soft light' even before I read your words! They are exactly right, stated beautifully.

I tried to write a comment, but I think I goofed. Hope you do not end up with two. This is one of those beautiful shots that calms you and actually does make you sigh. It is just heavenly. I adore the little umbrella stuck over there on the left all by itself. It add a special little bit of charm to your overall image. Wonderful haiku as always. genie
