Purple Beauty

Spring flower still emerging in my Dromana Hills garden.
I think this is a daphne, but I am unsure because the scent is very light.

Sweet purple beauty
Like Nature's mystic candle
Lighting the day hours

lovely springflower for you. My little wood anemone should not bloom now. It is a spring flower and we are going to winter now.

Sometimes daphne can be almost overwhelming, so this sounds like a great variety to me. (We used to grow it in Oregon and my daughter does now, but we alays miss it, because we're not here in early spring.

I found a Spring flower in my garden now, but it's Autumn in Sweden.

Have a nice day!
