The horse leaps upwards as the archer is ready to fire. Thus, his equine has allowed the arrow to fly in an arc, perhaps easily hitting the target - or maybe not! The sculpture has sculpted a look at the past when warriors only carried quivers of arrows...

Stunning shadow shot so crisp and clear.

Why, yes, this photo is much more shadowy than the one of the kookaburra!

I ALMOST LOST MY SHADOW

I almost lost my shadow,
I left it in the park;
I heard my mommy calling,
For it was getting dark;

She has no use for shadows,
She thinks they are quite grim,
And when she saw my shadow,
She thought it was a “him.”

I had to educate her
And tell her it was “she”—
And now my faithful shadow
Is welcome as can be!

Shadows in the Barrio

Well, I love this one too! (The other had a subtle shadow on the wire the bird was pouncing from, so I thought....) Anyway, good to see you twice. Worth every moment to see both these fabulous shots. I love the sharp detail from the crown on the steed. Very nice indeed.

And again, more PEACE

This strong-looking warrior belongs in the spotlight! I really like the effect.
