Crazy Guy

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Crazy little bright figurine given to me by one of my students.
It sits happily watching over me - on my filing cabinet at school - with a long twig.
Why the twig? I just like the artistic shape of twigs and branches!

Hey, sista...whassup!!!

Hot cold, hot cold...that's what the weather has been doing, can't make up it's mind...snow, rain, rain snow...such is the nearness of Spring, ever so close now. February was such a slow retail month compared to January, but we had lots of ice and no one comes out when ice is predicted...very scary! So I hope for plenty of good sales as spring starts to warm things up and we see the sun again!

However, I'm starting to get a lot of my spring soap orders in, so I'll be blowing bubbles quite frequently this next week!

My daughter is filling the void that still haunts her from the loss of her husband 4 years ago...she adopted a rescue dog, a beautiful HUGE Weimeraner...he's a 2 year old hunting dog that the owners couldn't keep anymore because he chased their horses...lucky for Piper, he's neutered too, an expensive procedure these days! They slept together last night, he's a cuddler, just what she wanted, so I think this will be a keeper!!!

Hope your kids are keeping you occupied and out of trouble...yeah right...seems like you are crazy busy all the time...taking some time for you too, aye?!

Do you feel the days just flying by these days, I'm constantly thinking, where has the time gone...so I'm anxiously awaiting the lazy dayz a'cumin, so I can savor every minute as it comes!

I'm off to work, so have a fabulous day and I'll see ya next week...big ol' Iowa farm hugs to ya...and a smooch!!!

you must be a cool teacher to deserve a crazy character :)
it's adorable

The character is crazy at first glance. Yet, he grows on us - not crazy but slightly eccentric. This eccentricity is what gives him/her/it the fun and happy-go-lucky personality that is so endearing. Fun is close by on the filing cabinet. A look at this after a tough day still will elicit a smile!
