What an exquisite shadow shot for the day! And your words are perfect as always. Hope you're having a lovely weekend, Gemma!

We all wait all winter for its end. This is so as the first growth, especially such a delicate flower like this. The sun gets higher and higher as do all the flowering plants. And we are happy the warmth is back...

i smile at your pictures of spring...but as i sit here at the computer with my turlteneck, my sleepers...and needing a sweater...i am jealous. i try to convince myself to roll with the punches this time of year, but sometimes i just want to throw a tantrum!! enjoy your spring gemma.

Lovely shot Gemma, we have that same bush in our front garden in QLD. It was covered in flowers a couple of weeks ago, but with all the rain we have had recently it is almost bare once again.

Such lovely spring time shadows! I wish it would stop raining here in Brissy long enough so that I could start enjoying spring. I don't remember it ever raining so much here. Crazy! I hope your spring is at least a little drier :)

Have a great week Gemma!

Such lovely, delicate flowers. Spring flowers look so dainty but they're really tough to withstand changes in temperature.

Oh to be entering into the valley of Springtime, I envy you so...it's so quiet here of a morning these days, as birds have flown south. We are expecting frost these next couple of days, then it's back to a well loved Indian summer, where daytime temps can reach back into the 80's...sigh!!!

A little belated birthday wish is at hand, our birthdays are not so far apart, as mine is Sept. 7. I did the same thing, a walk in the refuge with Nature, doesn't get much better, as a matter of fact, I think me and Scratchy are gonna take another walk in the country today, get them all in before it's too cold to leave the house, oh I dread that one!!!

My days will be filled with winterizing the house, needs to be done every year to keep the drafts at bay, since our energy companies consider us their cash cow! How do we conserve...MORE WOOLIES!!! Guess I need to make a sweater for my lil' heathen too, they say this is gonna be a long, cold winter...like they all aren't. Soon you'll be seeing those shadows on the snow, great for shadow shooting...BUT IT SUCKS!!!

Have a wonderful warm week dearest sister and know that I will be thinking of you as you walk the beaches and I'm shoveling the snows!!! Ouch, that hurt!!!

Smooch!

Romania put on its autumn clothes and your spring shadows only make me want to move to a spring place even more. Great shot!

A lovely shadow and poem Gemma, thank you for sharing spring with those of us entering autumn.

Lovely...and as we slide into autumn here in the northern hemisphere, I have to say I'm a little envious. ;-)
