As you immerse yourself in it, it really becomes a zen moment. Beautiful as usual.

He looks as if he is being a bit introspective here. Standing on the wet sand as his feet sink slowly into the muck, he appears to not be in any hurry. Maybe the bird will hang around until the next tide or wave arrives, whichever comes first. The beach is a place to contemplate...

Seagull plodding through the sand,
Which is better: sea or land?
Were I you and had a choice,
I would raise my screeching voice
To elect the endless sky
And be free to fly and fly.

It didn't run away from you! Ah...perhaps it thought that you had a parcel of food for it.
Great shot.

I just want to bury my toes in that wonderful sand n surf, bet it's still quite cool though...I love the little ringlets from water droplets, so delicate!

Thought I'd better get to posting to you before I sat in that easy chair, you know what that brings...ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...that's right! Just got home from work and would've loved to work a bit outside, such a beautiful day here in Iowa, though only 55 degrees, it's still better than 25...ha!

Had herds of dogs to do this past week, didn't get much accomplished, but tomorrow brings the sun again, so I'll be out again, bright and early into the studio finishing projects...can't wait! Sunday is usually the only full day I can work, the week is so cut up, if I don't get an early start, I usually get sidetracked...like going for an early morning drive with the heathen, it makes for a good start to the day, as the Autumn photos are stunning and no one is out on the road that early, though the horrible winds we had last week nearly took all of the leafy splendor with them.

Hope you're getting some easy time too, at least getting to the beach, that's all it would take for me...I long for the smell of the surf, especially when the snows are flyin' here.

Have a wonderful week ahead dear sister and know that I think of you often...smooch!!!

Those thin thin legs barely cast a shadow! How do they balance on them?
