The main annual Toy Run is practically an institution in Melbourne. Ever since 1978, when forty motorcyclists met to pass on toys to the community’s less privileged via the Salvation Army, more than 100,000 motorcyclists have taken part.

I cannot have imagined Santa being propelled by two wheels instead of eight reindeer...This is a wonderful gesture, we so often do not consider the less privileged when giving. Kudos to the fine people!

Our bikers here in the states do a run for kids toys at Christmas...guess they won't be doing one now with 6 inches of ice and snow on the roads...but there's still faith that the snows will melt and our day of reflection will soon end and business will resume as normal...'cept for me, I'm staying home and working, much to do in the coming days before our opening day at the Asylum.
Hope all is good with you...been watching a lot of Aussie films on the Independent Film Channel of late, so I think of you often and dream that someday we might meet and walk the shores of your dear Mornington Peninsula. My brother and I have always dreamed of a trip to Australia...who knows, never say never...
