Super photo - love the huge trees in the background.
Oh dear friend, I hesitate to wish spring upon me to quickly, for it would cut your summer days far too short. We always long for that which we cannot have.
I don't know why I have stayed in such a cold climate. So depressing when you don't see the sun for weeks on end, especially after living in sunny Florida, but it was far more important to be back helping family with all the issues a family will have.
I've come to realize that there was a higher purpose, a lesson to be learned...and I see it each and every day. My daughter and I have become so close and are finally working together as a family should.
I'm here for my soon to be 82 year old Dad, he is the love of my life and a great teacher as to how I want to be when I grow up...my Grandson and my brother, who moved back from California to help with Dad...this is it, the lesson, a family unit helping each other in these troubling times, at least we have each other!
So I'll wait my turn for springtime and keep coming back to your Mornington Peninsula for my weekly dose of summer...a breath of fresh air midst my winter doldrums.
Thank you dear friend for the views of the sea, you keep my dreams alive!!!
Happy New Year sweet Gemma...here, catch some hugs from afar...

Both of these are wonderful photos. I'm glad you haven't had the sand storms that we heard about.
Happy Christmas - and long summer days! (I'm loving it here across the ditch, as they say)!
Love photos with lots of levels - a bench, an umbrella, a sea, a sky. Beautiful.
Hi!
Considering it's 20 something degrees and cloudy here, that beach and sun look so welcoming! Great shot. Have a great day!

Would love to be sitting on that bench! Great photo and location!
That bench looks so inviting... to sit and contemplate the sun and the water would be a lovely way to spend Boxing Day. :)
That's a wonderful shot, with the shadow of the huge tree.
Happy New Year!
