AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Sometimes in the midst of winter's cold and ice and snow I wish to lived in a more southerly clime. But if my wish were granted I would miss my autumn splendor, my wet and damp spring and the delightful scrumptious leisure of summer. As your lovely words suggest: "Each season has its own atmospheric glory". Your lovely words reassuring me of my choice of living in a region of dramatic, changeable season. Well written and well said.

All seasons for me have magic and wonder...beauty in all color forms, even the winter. White, grey, crisp...so cold it hurts to breathe. But knowing it's only a temporary annoyance...I can live with that, for a few months anyway. Ask me again in another month...ha!

However, your words make it a natural progression in time, easy to live with.
