3WW prompt #CXIII ~ fury + guilt + thankful
~
Bars of strident light
Tangle of upturned metals
Slash the photo space
~
But it is the eyes
Simmering just off centre
The eyes of fury
~
The eyes of fury
Tangle the upturned senses
Wring the photo space
~
Some intruding guilt
Captures the senses off guard
Snaps the comfort zone
~
Like Mona Lisa
Like Mona Lisa's strange eyes
Watching the watcher
~
Thankful for metals
The sharp blare of brazen light
Distracting escapes
~

where you see fury,, i see desperate hope.. like a mother looking at her child hoping desperately this will be the time it finally sinks in.....
Oh the eyes of fury just off centre! Wonderful pic and a striking poem. I also visited a student art exhibition yesterady - silverwork done by final year students at our local technical university. Whimsical, unusual and beautiful!
I like "the eyes of fury" - it's always the eyes that say so much
nice take on the 3ww
I love the two where the clouds seem to explode and scatter small bits all around. Thanks for your visit.
