AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Own Worlds

Mum and daughter were at Portsea to watch the tall ships sail out of Port Phillip Bay two weeks ago.
But then there was this moment when both seemed to be in other worlds.

the world is there
tempting me
but I am here

A lovely study. Taking a picture (which she can later share with her daughter) seems fine. I hate to see when mothers are talking or playing with their cell phones and ignoring their children. This seems different.

A beautifully captured moment; the mother and child are physically together, and are so far apart.

The little girl seems to be enjoying the warm rays of the sun, a beautiful capture.
