Last weekend, tall ships, part of the Tall Ship Festival in Melbourne, sailed out of Port Phillip Bay heading for Hobart in Tasmania.
This is a view of one tall ship sailing past Portsea on the Mornington Peninsula.
For more photos of these tall ships, see my Boats and Boatsheds blog.

Nice photo, perfect using B&W!
Oh, I do love those old ships, Gemma, and what a beautiful capture!! Thanks for sharing!! It's like stepping back in time!!
Beautiful shot of the old sailing ship.
That is cool, the many reflections off the water look like little jewels.
I love the tall ships! Beautiful shot. Great contrast with the rocks in the foreground and the softer greys in the background.
Great range of tones from dark to light, and a beauty of a ship.
You've given this scene an antique feeling. It could be an illustration from a Patrick O'Brien book. Perfect composition, with the glittering water and the dark rocks.
That is a beautiful tall ship photo!
Great old ship!! Beautiful composition in B&W!!
wow this I liked, stylish sea view :)
Wonderful framing...I love the rocks in the foreground. A great image!
Great photo of an old sailboat!
a stunning photo Gemma! Reminds a lot of an old pencil drawing. I like that.
