AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Wood and Light

Some art featured in a shop at Queenscliff on the Bellarine Peninsula

Art of crafted woods
Grains and tones shine with beauty
A touch of leafed light

Art work has no script
There's just the creative urge
Shaping the vision

Truly said Gemma! Art is a spontaneous effort. It flows from the talented mind to canvas. In the process brilliance shows itself! Nicely!

That is really an interesting piece. I love the haiku you've written to go with it.

I am a wood person, and love wood crafts. My friend said i should buy or equip myself with more metals to attract the metals, but still wood is within my psyche! So whatever wood you show me, i will love them, that is so lovely crafted!
