Waiting! Waiting!

Today - Saturday 26th January - is Australia Day.
Here is a glimpse of some characters (last Australia Day 2012) lined up in a queue for a free breakfast at the Dromana pier celebrations.
Clearly they have means of being entertained while they wait their turn.

Thank you so much for linking into the Human Condition meme. I love this image. Times have really changed, even 5 years ago I think this would not have happened. The other day we were on the train and every single person in the carriage was doing this.... and so many of them smiling too, which is always a good thing in my book.

Thanks for the comment on my Human Condition post, she is actually on the bus and yes I think she is lots deep in thought.

Hi Gemma,

Happy Australia Day! I like the humor in this post. What did people used to do before cell phones? Ah yes, they talked!

Happy Blue Monday!

Not bad for the queuing. Many people seem hooked in tech gadgets nowadays.

Here's wishing you a belated Happy Australia Day! Isn't it bizarre to see how many people are on their phones at any given moment. They must have more to say than I do. :)
Thanks for sharing your photo at Sunlit Sunday.
