AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Red Friend

My little red umbrella is getting a work out with all the weeks of rain we have experienced.
Here we are waiting for a heavy downpour to pass.
We have taken shelter under a picnic pergola at Dromana beach.
Then we'll keep walking.

My shelter of red
Together we travel rains
On a photo quest

I like the duck - he appears to be gnawing on the bench while you two await te passing of the rain. Even a duck can experience too much rain...
