The feather is not part of a flying avian - yet, the shadow allows us to feel the lift under the wing, each feather allowing the bird to climb higher. The shadow looks alive - very nice capture!
Gemma this is beautiful .. it makes me feel still inside as I look at it .. and think of the comment .. much like life of a human that eventually becomes very still but full of past adventures ?
