Just a Touch of Red

Last Sunday afternoon, the Winter sunlight seemed to cast a magical atmosphere at Schnapper Point, Mornington.
In the background are the cranes still completing the new pier.

Just a touch of red
In the midst of beastly cranes
A touch of magic

I love the touch of red and the water. Bill would like watching the cranes work too! (We all have our own ideas of what's beautiful to look at ;>)

That little bit of red seems to be small but quite important in its function - I think that it floating marker to show where the fishing line pt net is. Thus, the catch can be pulled in without much searching. Red is naturally attention getting, so dinner can be found and pulled up in no time...

Even a touch of red is outstanding!

ENAMORED OF RED

Enamored of red
I lie in my bed,
Dreaming of cherry-filled crèmes;

For red is the shade,
The prettiest made,
That gives me the sweetest of dreams.

It's interesting how that little bit of read makes a photo sing. Nice job!

I love the energy and smell of a working dock. The little red float gives a nifty pop of color.
