Strange, yes...but it made me smile. :)
It certainly seems a strange ascot for a boat - the land dwelling lizard on a waterborne conveyance. But fitting enough for the earth dwelling persons, a reminder of what they are giving up for a day in the harbor or beyond. a neat find!
I"ve seen boat names that made me scratch my head, but never before have a seen a symbol. I feel as if I should be able to say what kind of dinosauer that is, because our sons and grandsons each went through a stage when they were fascinated by them. (But even for the grandsons that has been way too long ago!)
Somebody had great fun creating that emblem!

Oi, a bit strange indeed, but it's not scary, this lizard emblem. Then again, I kinda like lizards (at arms length...) :-)
