I like looking at and photographing these banners. I think a city is so friendly when they have these all over.
I live on "Main Street," but it isn't what you would expect a Main street to be.

I do love the look of the banners that are on many town streets today. To me they convey a sense of civic pride.
Welcoming town! We saw similar banners in Boulder Colorado, and that is one of the most vital downtown areas that we've seen for a while.

We are seeing lots of different banners around here, too and I really like them. It is interesting to see what is chosen to depict each neighbourhood.
