Music of the Night

Carry on Tuesday #39 ~ This week our prompt is the opening lines from the song Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera:
Night-time sharpens,
heightens each sensation.
Darkness stirs and wakes imagination

Deep night-time sharpens
Heightens each frail sensation
Like serrated fears

Darkness drums and stirs
Music of moon strung silhouettes

I enjoy moon shots. These are beautiful. Everytime I try and get a nice picture of the moon, my hand shakes and I have an oval in the sky. The one on my blog, that looks like a heart. Well, I might have said this to you before..I was
taking it from a window wide open and a bat came at me, hit the window, slammed the screen down and that is what I got for a picture.
You have to admit, it sure is different..Have a great day.

Hi: Very spooky pictures. They certainly represent the introduction to the Phantom. I saw that play three times. I loved it. Still have an old tape of it around here somewhere. Valerie

These haiku are wonderful. I love the pairing of the frailty of sensations with "serrated fears." It recalls that edgy fear you sometimes get at night. The notion of darkness sounding a drum really resonates. The photographs are stunning, as usual. Thank you for beautiful post, Gemma.
