Award from Bonnie Bonsai of Sydney, Australia!

This is a wind-blown, wild cockatoo on my verandah in the Dromana Hills, Mornington Peninsula.
(He fascinates me because he has a broken wing, which won't fold down but he manages to fly quite well!)
The dramatic look of shock in his pose symbolises how I feel right now.
~
Bonnie Bonsai of Australia: Quadrat in Focus (to name one of her 20 amazing blogs) has awarded my blog the Bella Sinclair Award for Art and Inspiration!
(She records her many awards in a separate blog called Appreciation Award Blog.)
~

I feel so humble because all I try to achieve here is to let people enjoy some time out, seeing and thinking about non mainstream, quirky sometimes eccentric ideas.
~
Photos combined with poetry aim to touch a cord for just a moment, and having touched move on.
~
I would dearly love to pass this award on to so many bloggers.
Some I know very well and some I am still discovering and exploring.
But, for a long time now, one particular blogger has walked with me through blogland and shared many lights and a few shadows.
She inspires with her love of the land (past and present) through her poetry and photos.
She is a modern day gypsy with a home known as the Pink Chateau.
She is my "sister" blogger in Iowa.
Sharon of Sweet Repose.

6. My laptop that is an extension of all my crazy ideas!

An Award!

I am simply so excited! The delightful Elaine (Ling to her friends) from Singapore of Napaboaniya APAD (A Photo A Day) and It's Not a Weekend; It's a Lifestyle has given me this award.

Her photo blog is pure magic. If you want unusual perspectives of the ordinary, great colours, great black and whites and creative composition, her pics are a must see. Best of all, the pics are LARGE! I am a regular viewer of her imaginative work! This blog is all about visuals! Stunning visuals! She claims not to be a professional photographer, but she should be!

And her personal blog is a blend of more great pics for memes and some fun comments.

NOW TO PASS ON THIS AWARD! First, for those who receive it, there’s some “reciprocal” rules that you should follow.

* The award may be displayed on a winner’s blog.
* Add a link to the person who you received the award from.
* Nominate up to seven other blogs.
* Then add their links to your blog.
* Add a message to each person that you have passed the award on to in the comments section of their blog.

Congratulations to the following fantastic bloggers!

Love visiting their worlds!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
* Jodie of Why Paisley who writes dynamic poetry!
* One Day in Hania ~ Kiwi now living in Hania, Crete who gives us a wonderful tour of this magic island.
* BABOOSHKA ~ of Ramsey Daily Photo who presents a fascinating range of creative pics from the Isle of Man
Awards! Awards!
Tracey of Hey Harriet has awarded all her Shadow Shot Sunday participants with 2 awards. (I am a regular Shadow Shot participant!)
The Brillante Weblog award was handed out on Sunday 21st July and the Arte y Pico award was given just today!
~
At first, I felt I didn't deserve the Brillante Weblog award, but it looks so pretty, so I have changed my mind! (Ooops Tracey! You must think I am mad!)
~
Tracey is just fantastic! She encourages all her participants in Shadow Shot Sunday with bright and breezy comments! It is a joy to visit her blog, not just for her Shadow Shot meme, but her comments on the Brisbane, Australia art world. And even her grumblings about cold winter are entertaining! (Not much longer Tracey and it will be over!)
~
Tracey is a Libran as I am! Maybe that's why our "craziness" clicks so well! Ummm but I think I am a tad worse than her! I am quite sure I've had more years of practice!
~
I would like to pass both awards on to Sharon of Sweet Repose in Iowa. Her blog is a delight to visit! She lives in a fairytale pink "chateau" (with Scratchy her dog), creaking at the seams a little, (I mean the chateau!) but that is all part of her intriguing personality! She is an antique junky (Sharon has new energy saving techniques! Read her commode posting!) and has just embarked on a poetry fling that is simply awesome! Check her out and be prepared to smile!
