A view of Flinders pier on the Mornington Peninsula
it's a fishing world
the lure of a long pier
casts a line of dreams

Great shot! It looks chilly, but still beautiful. I love all the vertical lines in the supports for the pier.
Wonderful capture!
Lovely B&W post!
Piers have such interesting shapes. I like both your photo and your haiku.
Interesting shot. I looks very lively.
Great photo, so full of life, here is only rain.
I like the sea and the piers.Reminds me of England …Brighton in the summer!
I like the strong lines in this shot.
These is such a strong liner component to this shot. The more I look at it the more I see. You captures lots of details. It is such fun walking way out on piers and looking at the sea.
It's something with the water, something magic!
This is just gorgeous in monochrome ....captures the mood, where people who fish will do it in any kind of light or weather, they don't care. And if I didn't notice the hoody on one of the guys, it could be from almost any century.
Lovely B&W post! Nice shot :-)
