I have no idea what this Autumn flower may be.
All I know is I rather like it, in spite of the little bugs that seem to be busy wandering the petals!
This flower was photographed in a garden at Moorabbin, an inner suburb of Melbourne.

what a dramatic flower!
How exotic!
I would think a type of Hibiscus.
It's lovely...I wouldn't have thought those were bugs if you hadn't said so.
The centre sure looks like a hibiscus, but I haven't seen one with such narrow petals...
I love it, though, whatever it is!!!
vad det än är så är den vacker( kanske hibiskus)

It looks like a hibiscus.
Beautiful. I also think it's a hibiscus. I've seen it here at the Botanic Garden.
more people then me was thinking hibiscus. Might be one of them. Did you notice the nice shadow on the low petal?
