Going...Going...

Our very very old and tired back verandah is currently in the process of being demolished.
But a magpie still finds a good view.

out with the old
worn with the traffic of wonder
new kind of view

Dear Magpie,

You seem to be indulging in a moment of quiet reflection, quite unlike your usual raucous self. Are you contemplating the shadows?

Hi Gem,
Good morning Down Under... hearing the magpie makes me giggle. I remember the Footy team §:-) as I like them.

Wow! your renovating? I can't wait to see the outcome. I like OZ plans of building. Hope I get some inspirations from Victoria.

Happy SSS2.

The bird itself seems to be made of shadows.

I look forward to seeing your renovations!

Very nice! The shadows remind me of a checkerboard pattern.

Changes are never easy even thought we do have to make them. At least, the little bird is getting in his last visit.

I love the design made by the shadow on the wooden planks and the bird turning his back on us ! Great composition !

is that a magpie? It looks like something in between our hooded crow and our magpie. :)
