Mangroves are in the foreground.
Beyond the mangroves is a gracious white yacht.
Beyond the yacht are the not so gracious white shapes of industrial plants at Long Island Point.
Large oil tankers dock there.
It is the home of Esso and Bluescope Steel.
This is the view of Westernport Bay at Hastings.

Like the contrasts that you describe so well. Have a great week:)
Fun, fun! I'd like to go fishing too!
a lovely scene. mangroves are fragile here. i hope the industrial plants are taking care of the marine life.
Like seeing different layers.
Wonderfully captured!
Thanks for dropping by :)

a beautiful scene, even with the tanks! I would love to travel thru a mangrove swamp, but worry about mosquitos!
Interesting juxtaposition of natural versus industrial! But the yacht is gorgeous!
The industries seem fairly close to the harbor, I hope the mangroves do a good job in protecting the environment.
Beautiful composition. So good that they still protect the mangrove. Great shot!

I'd love to have a yacht....must be nice! Hey, my maiden name was Hastings!
Interesting contrast of nature's beauty and man-made beauty and man-made ugliness.
Love the mangroves, water and the beautiful yacht. Great capture for WW! Have a happy day!
