AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Window within a window...

A window of the Mornington Museum (Old Post Office) in Main Street, Mornington.
I found it scenic because the reflection of the skies at the time seems to enhance the ambience of the post office poster featured in the window.
And then there is the overlay of the second poster announcing a Heritage Walk - part of the Australia Day celebrations last Saturday.

I love those old windows, and the reflections in them - very intriguing. I'd love to take that heritage walk.

This is wonderful Gemma! I just kept looking at the picture for a long time, seeing more "layers" each minute. What a great catch.

That reflection is perfect for the weekend reflection contest... I like how you captured the sky on the first one.

Beautiful shots. I really like that idea of a window within a window.
