Touring Grass

Car parked on the main street of Dromana
Apparently there are a few cars round the world that have embarked on this grass idea.
Some are covered in "astroturf" and some have real grass plus sod!!!!
Check out the range of oddities HERE!

A pseudo grass car
Borrowed Nature's green ideas
Plastic invention

Plastic surfacing
Dubious tenacity
Mother Nature shrugs

P.S. Just had a terrible thought.
Imagine this vehicle coming toward you by night - with headlights on.
You may begin to believe that the green-eyed monster was actually all green and very real!!!

Loved the way Mother Nature shrugged :-)

I am not sure of the message of this vehicle - does it run on manure or garbage?! "Nature shrugs", as did I...

OMG! Now I've seen it all. I LOVE "Mother Nature shrugs!" At first I thought it was real grass, which would have been cool, in an odd sort of way.....imagine driving around with a sprinkler going?

Yikes. I'm sure Mother Nature is horrified. I can just hear her: "You're going out like that? What if you get in an accident?"

You know how mothers are...

It looks good to further the cause for a green environment. Saves on water, no car wash, just brushing for a 'dry clean' I think so!

Like everyone else, I'm hooked on your last line--that's where I finally let out my hoot of a laugh. But so much more is luscious here, so to speak: the repetition of plastic, the personification of nature as in grass is her green idea, and the lovely shrug of your own in "dubious tenacity" which has as much to say about the invention's usefulness as mama's shrug.

I can only imagine the rust created keeping the grass moist. :)

Mamma mia, what a car! Need watering? Hehehe.
Grass is safe and natural; plastic is not natural and it's dangerous.
So many pseudo inventions nowadays trying to imitate Mother Nature!
Witty haikus.
