Just a Touch of Shadow

I have always been fascinated by letterbox styles.
Here is one - Cresswell Cottage - at Bittern on the Mornington Peninsula

Humble letterbox
Parading some unique styles
Begs to be noticed

The box itself is cute as nestled into the evergreen. I has the feel of a cottage cozy in the woods. I sense a gnome may be in this whimsical neighborhood!

I love this! Sadly, in our rural area mailboxes are often vandalized by bored teenagers, so we tend to go sturdy and functional.

How wonderful! I'd love to have a mailbox like that. Unfortunately, I had the same first thought as Kelly - it wouldn't last 24 hours before being stolen or vandalized out here.

I feel like I'm inside a fairy tale setting...who lives at #10?

Snow White? Hansel and Gretel?

Fun photo!

(We call them mail boxes here. Letter box sounds so much nicer.)

Charming shadow shot! The mailbox is sweet and unique as I imagine the resident of the cottage to be also.
