I had to laugh, the comment above mine..said the same thing I was thinking. I wouldn't mind a little swing right now.
Great shot and happy to me. Swings are always a happy thing.
Happy SSS.

Maybe we should all get together and swing there -- we're obviously all of the same mind set! Love swings and the fun shadows they leave! Enjoy the remainder of your weekend, Gemma!!

I love to swing too, I miss those days when my boys were still little, we used to go to the park and find a swing.

I see the eyes and lips on the ground. The face may be a bit forlorn as the giggling children are not at play now. Perhaps relaxed now, the leg pumping swinging children will be back soon and cheer up Mr. Swingy...

Oh, to swing like a child again. I use to swing really high. Makes you feel free.

Empty swing shadows make me a bit sad...No longer having any little ones at home to enliven the swing set. Good Shadow Shot Gemma!

Ahhh, but what a lovely reminder of summertime, swings in a park...we've actually had wonderful weather in the 50's, rainy though, but at least it isn't snow and it's really starting to green up the grass too.

Went to my daughters for a beer and pizza and a video, just got home, we watched 2012...oh my...now I'm depressed and my fingers are achy from gripping the chair...good show though, talk about a species purging!

You can sure feel spring in the air and the attitude of the people, even though we know we could get a rogue snow, we also know they don't last in March. As much as I dislike winter, I think I'm becoming calloused toward it. It comes every year like clockwork, like it or not and now that I'm grooming dogs out of my home, I don't have to leave and it helps pay the bills. It's amazing how little one requires when the money isn't there to splurge...I can get used to this...and you might say that's what it's all about...living with less.

Enjoying the beauty in a new year and a new day...don't you just love SSS, it's like having morning coffee with old mates, aye...it's a wonderful life, every breath of it...stay well and safe old friend!

Much love from Iowa!

Yes, I see it! Funny, isn't it that as adults we forget to take a recess and play hard for 15 minutes each day. Empty swings bring that to mind.
