There is the yellow taxi, the old tram style with the pale yellow roof (on the left of the photo) and the new bright and breezy yellow 'Bumblebee' tram which runs from St Kilda on Port Phillip Bay to Brunswick.
It is called Route 96.
(By coincidence, an old Australian soapie was called 'Number 96'!)

Wow it looks like in Australia the color of the public transportation is yellow. I saw today in another blog a yellow water taxi and that is also awesome. ^_^
