AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Woof! Mon-
supreme coolness sandy
I've not seen one of those in person, but they look so cool!
I'll never see these dogs again without thinking this! Thanks for the laugh!!
Poor doggie! It must hurt him!
I've often wondered why a pet owner (or breeder) would choose to have (or breed such a labor intensive breed such as this. Isn't owning and caring for pets already riddled with responsibility and chores?
A very cool dog. How heavy must his fur be when he gets wet.
do they have detanglers for dogs ;)
Yuck!
Wow ~ now that's a LOT of hair!

I wonder if the dreadlocksif translates into one relaxed and happy dog.
these dogs are so cute and their hair does look like dreadlocks! lol
I like that look, but I think if I had one of those, I would shave him, often the dreadlocks tangle up too many hairs at once and handicap the dog. Love the haiku!
Dreadlocks, Hmm!
A friend of mine had one of those dogs ... if I remember correctly, it's called a Komondor.
It was a great dog, but kind of resembles a walking floor mop !!
LOVE it! A human would have to sit for hours to get his/her hair to look like this :-D
Oh my!! I've never seen anything like this on a dog before, human yes but not a dog. Thanks for the smile this morning.
