AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Front of a home at Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula.
The name Balmarian intrigued me.
It seemed to be an unusual name for a house.
When I Googled the word, the name seemed even more unusual.
Balmarians are a race of extraterrestrials from the Super Robot Wars series.
They are fictional aliens from a Japanese video game.
So now I am more puzzled just how it all connects with a house name.

What's in a name we can only speculate just what it means. Going beyond its unusual moniker, it is a nice looking house and the suburban shadow emanating from the trellis is very stylish - a fine looking abode indeed!

Beautiful shots, but yes - not what you'd expect a cute, pink house to be named.
