Back in May 2008, when first I began uploading my photos, I had never edited my photos before.
This is one of my first attempts at using a frame to complement the image.
This is one of my first attempts in 2008 to solarise an image.
dull landscapes glow
in the chillled seasons
like snowy lace
Another solarised image looking down Arthurs Seat to Port Phillip Bay.
Rarely do I edit my photos - except maybe for cropping.
I prefer the "as is" photography.
But if I edit my photos, I like to keep a sense of reality, a sense of the original photo.

These are terrific, Gemma!! Good for you! I'm going to have to try some of the editing that's available these days!! Hope your week is going well!
I LOVE the way the light is in the solarised images - I have never heard of it, but it has an amazing effect.
I publish most of my photos SOOC, but sometimes I find it fun to use the editing tools. I like the framed rain at the window the best!
I like the solarize effect in the third image. I often make minor adjustments in brightness, contrast, etc. But I also like to push an occasional image to the edge.
