I do love your mini shadows, Gemma! Such a lovely beach, too!!
The gulls seem to be huddling away the chill in the winter air. Their look is of searching the sea in the hopes of warmer days - and crowds on the beach for easier food gathering (at least that's what the gulls do up here :)
