Love this shadow shot, too, Gemma! Great to see all the kids waiting for a tour! Wonderful sunlight and the shadows are so CRISP!!
Creo que viejo way es algunas veces mejor que new way...spanenglish :)
Have a relaxing weekend!
"waiting for the light inside...to show the old way..." wonderful words gemma.
the old, the familiar...comfort and peace.
namaste.
Just love your composition of this week's SSS2 header!
Lovely lines -- and the shadows are more eloquent than the "real" people.
Our memories allow us comfort of days past - perhaps that is abstract to the young students now, but in time will be seared into their souls...it is nice to see school uniforms, they all look so refined here. Hope they learned on this trip...
Long shadows, they must have gotten there early.
Great shadow...the students are looking quite patient as they wait to begin! Enjoyed your video above as well Gemma!! Have a great weekend!
How wonderfully evocative, both the image and the poetry.
crisp lines in the shadows
Is the shrine dedicated to World War II?
great shadows formed by students. :)
Did I already comment? I know I started to, but don't know if my internet connection sidetracked me. Forgive me if I already did-but, I love the contrast of the uniformed students in a cluster with the shadows cast.
