There is something lonely and sad about one shoe lying near a beach.
This one was left near the carpark at Portsea Ocean Beach.
A single blue shoe
Looking as if it was loved
Now lost and alone

I agree with you, Gemma, there is something sad about it and makes you wonder where the other shoe is and who they belong to! Lots of questions with no answers!
That is a poignant photo - and poem. Lovely.
It looks as lonely as my one leaf stuck in the tree. I cannot help but wonder the stories it has to tell. Looks like it has been a few places. A nice blue to brighten a dreary night waiting for the winds of "Sandy" to hit us. genie
Great find.
meaningful blue capture....may it find its pair one sweet day...:)
Great find and capture of a lonely blue shoe!

I'm afraid I've lost quite a few flip flops in water over the summers. It's time to store them all away here.

Great capture. You're right, there is a feeling of sadness with just one slipper or shoe.
My Blue Monday.
My sis lost one of her favorites in my lake. It was found about 2 months later, after the other was thrown away!
You are right! Great capture ;-)
Thanks for sharing. I'm sorry to take so long to comment, but my computer acted up.
I look forward to reading your comment on my blog.
Happy Blue Monday, Gemma.
