There is nothing like the view from the docks to the water - the look of warmer weather where we need to go out to sea to cool down. Not the look of gray and snow. So, this is a relaxing warm weather view!

Thanks for co-hosting the shadowy meme!

Fabulous shadow shot - especially as it brings back memories of a wonderful holiday some years ago!
Thanks for co-hosting SSS, so that I can continue to pander to my shadow addiction every weekend!

Fences often make interesting shadows, this ones is especially nice with its arched rail.
Thanks to you and others for taking over the meme, it is greatly appreciated by many.

That lovely scene with its blue water and warm sun are most welcome. It's snowing here, and the sky is gray.

Girl, you know what I like, sunshine and seaside ...I don't know how you keep up with it all and teach too. I had to get to work early this AM, so I couldn't link with y'all then, but what fun and how exciting to all be together again on a different blog...can you say ADDICTION!!!

Big hugs lil' sister!

Such a bright, sunshiny shot! A stark contrast to the cold drear we've had of late.

Thanks so much for being one of the hosts and designing the great new SSS blog!

Gemma, thank you so much for continuing this meme, it seems very brave to me.
Thank goodness I'm not the only one who has trouble uploading the new Logo, copying was no problem but I was informed the image was corrupt so could not be uploaded. Oh well, I have linked the new site to the old image meanwhile.

Such a wonderful light image with gentle shadows that you show us today, as though you had captured the very essence of light.

What a lovely looking spot! I wish I was there right now with a big pile of fish & chips!

Oh yes, next Sunday is Christmas and I hadn't even thought of that! So starting up at the new blog today worked out well as it could have been a bit odd next week.

I love how it's all going so smoothly and everyone is happy about having a new home to share their shadows!

Again, thank you so much Gemma! You were the perfect person to take over as you've been part of SSS since the very beginning!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend! xo

Ah, summer on the water.

Beautiful, warm shadow shot, Gemma. It's so cold here today, and it's not even officially winter yet.
Thanks so much for hosting SSS. It's always interesting to see the shadows that others find in their corners of the world.

Have a wonderful week!

These is something so nice about pier photos with their shadows. Maybe it is because I grew up on the Atlantic Ocean and the Inland Waterway so saw lots of them thru my youth. This is an extra pretty shot. Quite a few nice sized boats...or should I say yachts. genie

It's time for boating on the bay...very inviting pier! Thanks for being the new hostess!
