leather scents...nice, it builds on the image of grandfather...i wish he could as well...tight longing...
Very nice. Short and impacting.
sight, smells, touch, sound..and emotions bring this poem a sense of true immediacy...being in the moment...The short form actually brought me right into that space with a type of efficiency that lends itself to creating a rich, whole, full experience...well done!
Love the shadorma form, and you used the form to fit your message very well. The lines with few syllables held create a reaching effect that compliments meaning. Great shadorma.
Yes, this picture also reminded me of all the phone calls I'll never receive again.
A poignant read! A reminder to make phone calls while we can.
It too reminded me of calls unmade, and those which could never again be answered... well done.
fine capture of the longing to speak with someone long_gone and the use of the leather scent..makes it even stronger
Ah yes, If only...

what a beautiful poem.
One of my favorite forms because it does this sort of thing so well, channels words and weights them just right, when done as skillfully as you have here. Enjoyed it much.
Ah a shadorma! Loved this because it said so little and left the telling to us. Wishing what was once new could be re newed once more.
There are several people I would love to speak with...Love this!
A very thought-provoking poem.
We are all so busy & tied up in our lives that we forget how much joy a simple phone call to a loved one/friend can bring.
Thank you for sharing.
