What a super dragon, and your mention of travels made me remember, my best friend is packing to move from west coast of Canada to live on a narrow boat in England, and she hasn't mentioned what she's doing with her extensive dragon collection.
Thanks for the reminder, I must phone her, just because I'm curious (or nosy).

We so often think of dragons as fiery menaces, here around to terrorize. Not this one! He sits on the railing, a quiet and almost introspective being Pondering, perhaps the visitors, but not violent at all - a gentle being indeed!

Your dragon seems to be glowing with an unquenchable internal fire!

I ONCE HAD A SHADOW

I once had a shadow—or did she have me?
My shadow and I could never agree.
I would say something, she’d say the reverse;
Our arguments flared, my lips I would purse,
Refusing to speak to her anymore—
So my shadow got up and marched out the door!
I have not seen her from that day to this—
That’s one stubborn shadow I surely don’t miss!
