On the bright side... cats always land on their feet and have nine lives. But, your angel couldn't hurt Shadow's chances of a safe landing. Hope all is well. Happy 4th.
What a beautiful cat, is he yours??? He has the perfect vantage point, as cats love to live on the edge...I notice there are no birds around.
I dearly love cats, but the heathen will not allow, I miss the close companionship of the aloof feline, they are always so unconcerned with life...and it's like they say, 'you want the best seat in the house, move the cat'...
We had a very rainy, gloomy Independence Day today, hardly anyone on the road...not a bad thing, as long as we remember the meaning of the day...freedom, may we all share in it!

Hi Gemma, Shadow is a beautiful cat and I am sure a lovely companion. Not all cats are blessed and have their own guardian angel. He is a lucky fellow!
